Calibration and certificate
Workshop runs the manufacturer-spec calibration, post-scan to confirm every system is reading, and issues a signed certificate before you leave.
ADAS calibration price tiers
Pricing is fixed across our network. Same price wherever you are in the UK. Your tier is set by what work has been done, not by your postcode or your car's make.
All prices include the diagnostic scan, the calibration procedure (static, dynamic, or both as required), a post-calibration check, and a calibration certificate. No charge for diagnostic if you decide not to proceed.
Avatr models we cover
Older models with ADAS retrofits are case-by-case. Send your registration to confirm coverage.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Avatr cars are still rare on UK roads and the dealer network is sparse, but the calibration procedure runs through standard manufacturer-spec diagnostic equipment that our accredited network carries.
We confirm the trigger (bumper repair or windscreen swap) and the model (11 or 12), then quote up front. The procedure is a static aim of the forward sensor suite with the car level and the target board positioned to Avatr's documented distances. Certificate after, sits on the car's service history. If you're unsure whether your specific Avatr build carries the systems that flagged, send the registration when you enquire.
Because the Avatr UK dealer network is small and most workshops haven't priced enough Avatr calibrations to publish a list rate. The dealer typically wants to see the car first, then quotes, which is why bookings land at £500+ depending on the workshop.
Our network skips the inspection-fee step. We use the model and the trigger to set the price before the car arrives. Same manufacturer-spec procedure, fixed quote in hours. The certificate we issue is accepted by insurers and documents the procedure for any future buyer.
Updated, not different in kind. The Avatr 12 (2024 onward) refined the forward sensor suite compared with the 11, but the calibration procedure runs through the same manufacturer-spec tooling. Windscreen swap is the dominant trigger on the 12 because the forward camera is bonded to the glass.
The 11 sees both bumper repair and windscreen swap as common triggers because the radar sits in the bumper zone. Our accredited network handles both models in the same workshop with the calibration board positioned per Avatr's documentation. One booking covers either.
Yes, if the workshop didn't run the calibration after fitting the glass. The forward camera on both the 11 and 12 is bonded to the windscreen, so any replacement either moves the camera or the bracket it sits in. The dashboard flags ADAS within a short drive.
Some windscreen fitters clear the warning code without running the actual calibration, so the warning comes back. The fix is a full static calibration with the car parked level and the target positioned to spec. Our network carries the manufacturer-compatible tooling to run the procedure end to end.
No. Under the Block Exemption Regulation, an independent workshop can carry out the calibration without affecting your warranty, provided the workshop follows the manufacturer's documented procedure and uses compatible equipment.
Our accredited workshops do both, and the certificate we issue documents what was done. Given how thin the Avatr UK dealer network is, this is often the most practical route to getting the car calibrated quickly without waiting for a dealer slot. The certificate sits on the car's service history.
