Trade ADAS Calibration. Mobile at Your Premises.
Bodyshops, glass fitters, dealers and garages send us the calibrations their own kit can't finish. A technician comes to your site with the equipment, and that equipment needs adequate space on a flat level floor. Where your bay can't give it that, the car goes into the service centre covering your postcode instead. The two are priced differently and both rates are on this page.
- Mobile at your premises: £175 +VAT per system for a camera or radar (£210 inc VAT).
- At a service centre: £135 +VAT per system (£162 inc VAT), across 80+ UK centres.
- Itemised written quote per job, so the figure goes straight onto your estimate.
Send a job, or tell us your volume
Give us the registration, what work has been done, which parts were fitted and the postcode. Say whether the car can sit on a flat level floor at your site, because that decides mobile or centre. The booking desk asks for all of it anyway, so putting it here gets the written quote back sooner. Running regular calibration work? Put the rough monthly number in and we'll come back on it.

Who sends us work
-
Bodyshops and accident repair
The biggest group on our books. Panel work is finished, a radar or camera has to be put back in tolerance, and the car can't go back to the customer until it is. A replaced part gets coded and then calibrated, and both lines are itemised so you can see what goes on the estimate.
-
Windscreen and glass fitters
New glass in, the forward camera won't lock. We take the calibration on platforms your own kit doesn't reach, at your depot where the floor allows or at the centre covering the postcode. Glass fitters are also the ones who ask us about regular monthly volume.
-
Dealers and traders
Stock prep and warning lights before a car goes out to a retail customer. Used the other way round too: calibrate first to rule it in or out, so you aren't buying a radar the car didn't need.
-
Garages and fleet operators
The occasional ADAS job that's out of scope for your equipment, or a run of vehicles off one site. Priced per job at the published rate, with nothing to sign.
Three things to check before you send a mobile job
Floor and space. The mobile equipment needs adequate space on a flat level floor. A sloping yard, or a bay with the gear still in it, means the targets can't be set and the technician has come out for nothing.
Sensor condition. The camera or radar has to be undamaged and sitting where it should. Scratched, cracked or knocked out of position, and no calibration will bring it back into tolerance. That car needs the new part first, then coding, then calibration.
A roadworthy car. Valid MOT, and a full tank or a full charge, because the technician may need to drive it.
Get all three right and the visit completes. Get one wrong and the technician still attended, so a call-out fee applies. It is spelled out under the rate card below. More trade jobs die on those three checks than on anything else, which is why they're near the top of this page instead of in the small print.
What we take on the spot, and what needs checking first
Trade brings the awkward metal. Most of it is routine. Some of it we have to look at before we say yes, and we'd rather do that on the phone than after a van is on your forecourt.
Send it straight through
- Front camera after a windscreen or a screen swap
- Front radar after bumper, grille or crash-bar work
- Blind spot radar, 360 camera, reversing camera, parking sensors
- A replaced camera or radar that needs coding to the car and then calibrating
- Warning lights where you want calibration ruled in or out before you start buying parts
- Post-repair calibration you need documented for the repair file
Send the registration first
- The newest EV platforms. Coverage moves as tooling lands, so we check the plate rather than guess
- Night-vision cameras
- Two radars and a 360 system on the same vehicle
- Minibuses, vans and anything on a commercial chassis
- Anything you haven't sent us before. Two minutes on the phone beats a wasted visit
How a trade job runs today
- 1
Send the details
Registration, what work has been done, which parts were fitted, the postcode, and whether the car can sit on a flat level floor at your site. Use the form at the top of this page or email it over.
- 2
Written quote back
Priced per system off the card below, with any diagnostic scan on its own line, so the figure can go onto your estimate or the insurer's before you commit to anything.
- 3
Pay, then the slot is held
A payment link goes out per job and is settled before the appointment. That's how every job here runs, trade included. There's no account and no credit facility, so budget for it up front.
- 4
Technician attends
At your premises where the floor and the space allow, or at the service centre covering your postcode. The certificate is issued on completion and lists every system signed off.
The rate card, per system
The table below is the service-centre column, shown inc VAT with the net figure alongside. On a mobile visit at your own premises the net rate is £175 +VAT per system for a camera or radar (£210 inc VAT), and each additional system in that same visit comes off by 45% rather than 35%. Your quote is confirmed in writing before anything is booked.
Calibration — per system
Coding a replaced part to your vehicle
- When your job needs a diagnostic scan, it's £54 inc VAT (£45 +VAT), always itemised as its own line. It shows which systems were live before work started.
- Two or more systems in one visit: the highest-priced system is full price, each additional system is 35% off at a centre. Scans aren't part of the discount. Front camera and front radar together come to £267.30 inc VAT (£222.75 +VAT).
- A replaced camera or radar is coded to the vehicle and then calibrated, so a replacement job is the coding line above plus the calibration for that system, with the multi-system discount applied at a centre. Your written quote itemises both.
- On mobile trade visits only: if the technician attends and the calibration can't be completed, a sensor fitted misaligned for example, a call-out fee of up to £72 inc VAT (£60 +VAT) applies.
- Mobile calibration is available for garages and bodyshops with workshop conditions. Ask us.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, where the site suits it. The mobile equipment needs adequate space on a flat level floor, and that condition applies to every mobile visit. On a mobile visit a front camera, front radar, blind spot radar or 360 camera is £175 +VAT per system (£210 inc VAT). Where the bay can't give us the floor, the car goes into the service centre covering your postcode at £135 +VAT per system instead (£162 inc VAT). Tell us the site conditions when you send the job and we'll say which one it is before you commit.
Per system, net. Front camera, front radar, blind spot radar and 360 camera are each £175 +VAT on a mobile visit (£210 inc VAT). A reversing camera is £196 +VAT (£235.20 inc VAT) and parking sensors are £178 +VAT (£213.60 inc VAT). Two or more systems in the same mobile visit: the highest-priced system is charged in full and each additional system comes off by 45%. A diagnostic scan, when your job needs one, is priced and itemised separately.
No. They're two lines and you should quote both. Coding the replacement module to the vehicle is £218 +VAT on a mobile visit (£261.60 inc VAT), or £194 +VAT at a centre (£232.80 inc VAT). The front radar calibration is charged alongside it, at £175 +VAT mobile or £135 +VAT at a centre, with the multi-system discount taken off whichever of the two lines is cheaper. A replaced front camera works the same way, from £191 +VAT at a centre for the coding line. Your written quote itemises both.
A call-out fee of up to £72 inc VAT (£60 +VAT) applies, and it is the one charge on this page you can avoid completely. Two things cause nearly all of them: a floor that can't take the target setup, and a sensor that turns out to be damaged or knocked out of position, which no calibration will correct. Check both before you send the job and the visit completes.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. There's no weekend service, and we'd rather say that here than after you've promised a Saturday handover. Timing depends on where the nearest van or centre is on the day. One bodyshop had a technician on site the same working day. Another was seen the following day. Neither is a commitment we can make in advance, so ask when you send the job and we'll tell you what's actually free.
Not today. There's one rate card and it's the one on this page. The only reduction on it is the multi-system discount: 45% off each additional system on a mobile visit, 35% at a centre, with scans excluded from both. There's no credit facility and no monthly invoice either. If you're running regular calibration volume, send the rough number of jobs a month with your enquiry. It's a live question with our partner, and we'd rather have your numbers than guess at terms.
A payment link per job, settled before the appointment. That applies to trade the same as everyone else, including jobs booked on the day. Card is accepted across the network. We know some shops would rather pay once the technician has finished on site, and that isn't something we can offer at the moment.
Certificate to manufacturer tolerances, the same standard dealers issue. It lists every system that was calibrated. Where a diagnostic scan ran, its report comes with it as its own itemised line, and the quote and invoice behind the job are itemised the same way. What we won't tell you is that an insurer has pre-approved any of it, because we hold no agreement with one.
No, and the honest answer is worth more than the optimistic one. Cameras and radars on mainstream platforms are routine. Night-vision cameras, cars carrying two radars plus a 360 system, and the newest EV platforms are the ones we've had to turn down, because the tooling wasn't there. Send the registration before you promise a date to your own customer and we'll confirm the same or next working day whether it's a job we can take.
