How calibration works

  1. 1

    Send your details

Quick form, about 60 seconds. Your registration, what's been done or what's wrong, and how to reach you.

  2. 2

We match you to a service centre

We route your enquiry to the nearest service centre set up for your make. They confirm the itemised quote and the appointment with you direct, in writing, before anything is booked.

  3. 3

    Calibration and certificate

The centre runs the manufacturer-spec calibration and issues your certificate on completion. Any diagnostic scan the job needs is itemised on the quote, never folded in silently.

Leapmotor calibration prices

Coding a replaced part to your vehicle

Service At a service centre
Front radar replaced £232.80 inc VAT (£194 +VAT)
Front camera replaced £229.20 inc VAT (£191 +VAT)
Blind spot radar replaced £226.80 inc VAT (£189 +VAT)
Reversing camera replaced £213.60 inc VAT (£178 +VAT)
  • When your job needs a diagnostic scan, it's £54 inc VAT (£45 +VAT), always itemised as its own line. It shows which systems were live before work started.
  • Two or more systems in one visit: the highest-priced system is full price, each additional system is 35% off at a centre. Scans aren't part of the discount. Front camera and front radar together come to £267.30 inc VAT (£222.75 +VAT).
  • A replaced camera or radar is coded to the vehicle and then calibrated, so a replacement job is the coding line above plus the calibration for that system, with the multi-system discount applied at a centre. Your written quote itemises both.
  • On mobile trade visits only: if the technician attends and the calibration can't be completed, a sensor fitted misaligned for example, a call-out fee of up to £72 inc VAT (£60 +VAT) applies.
  • Mobile calibration is available for garages and bodyshops with workshop conditions. Ask us.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. That's exactly the scenario the C10 calibration procedure covers, and a front bumper replacement is the classic trigger.

The ADAS calibration realigns the front radar and the forward camera against a manufacturer-spec target board so the lane assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise read the road correctly. The 360 camera procedure recalibrates the surround view system so the bird's-eye display lines up properly after the front camera was disturbed by the bumper work. Our service centres run both in the same visit. Two-to-three hours total, single certificate covering both calibrations.

Yes. The T03's forward camera reads the road through the windscreen, and a glass replacement disturbs the camera's mounting and its aim.

Even a careful refit puts the camera at a slightly different aim than where it was when the car left the factory. The lane assist and forward collision warning read off that camera, so the system flags as unavailable until the calibration runs.

Our service centres carry the Leapmotor-compatible rig and the manufacturer-spec target board for the T03. The procedure realigns the camera's reference aim and the warnings clear. Standard follow-on job after any T03 windscreen swap.

Because Leapmotor only launched in the UK in 2025 and the dealer network is still building out, so ADAS work is usually quoted after inspection rather than off a published list. Dealer quotes customers have shown us for ADAS work run £300 to £900.

Our service centres carry manufacturer-spec calibration rigs that cover the T03 and the C10, and we price per system. Front camera calibration is £162 inc VAT (£135 +VAT), front radar is the same, with the full rate card on this page. Your quote is confirmed the same or next working day, itemised in writing before anything is booked. Same documented manufacturer procedure, network pricing, certificate after the job. No inspection-then-revise. That written quote up front is the main reason Leapmotor owners come to us, particularly after bumper repairs and windscreen swaps.

Sometimes. The C10's 360 camera array is independent of the forward ADAS suite, but they share reference points at the front of the car. If the trigger was a bumper repair or a windscreen swap that disturbed the front camera, the 360 system usually needs verifying at the same time.

The service centre checks the 360 alignment as part of the calibration job on the C10. If the bird's-eye display is lining up correctly and the surround sensors are reading right, we log the verification. If it's out, we run the surround view calibration alongside the front ADAS procedure. Single booking, both checks done, certificate documents what was calibrated.

No. Under UK block exemption rules, an independent workshop can carry out the calibration without affecting your warranty, provided they follow Leapmotor's documented procedure and use manufacturer-spec equipment.

Our service centres do both, and the certificate we issue documents the procedure with the pre- and post-job readings on the camera and radar. That record sits on the car's service history and protects your position with Leapmotor. Particularly useful given Leapmotor's UK network is still small: a documented independent calibration record is what the dealer asks to see if a warranty question comes up later on the T03 or C10.
